He is well broke and has been used on the ranch and in alleys. He has sorted stock and drug calves to the fire.
Started on both the flags and barrels. He has a huge motor and rapid acceleration. Late out of the box or not, you will not be out run in the team roping!
Yes I have him started him team roping and he is doing very well, great mind, athletic and loves to work.
He will go any direction you wish (Barrels or Roping) and take you to the pay window year after year. He is just that kind of horse!

This 6 year old buckskin gelding is just started and doing well in the bridle and under the saddle. What a body on this guy. He is 14.3 hands and very solid. I found him deep in Texas, back to back and knee deep in arrows beside John Wayne. Talented, athletic and looking for a job. I'm working on his feet, he is a little on the sensitive side there. In the saddle, just give him a job, he is a lot of horse with a kind eye that is just looking for that right home. As fine of a horse as you could ever swing a leg on.
Branded with him as a baby, rode him extensively in the mountains for years before we got serious about roping.
As good and responsive rein as you will find. Turn around on his front or rear legs without moving the opposite end.
Moves off your leg without effort, opens and closes gates without your help. Pushes a cattle crowd in a tub and works the alley like a cutting horse.
Gentle and kind, he is my go to horse everyday.
Good on both sides of the box and a very true switch ender!

I offered him once at 30K but after riding him, heeling on him and getting complements from everyone in the arena...I admit, they got to my ego and I liked it. I will keep him around for at least a year, maybe two.
